Six Christmas displays in Bromley YULE love

As you might have noticed, we are well and truly in the thick of the festive season. The lights on the local high street illuminate our town, the John Lewis advert is out (and we still cry every time) and everyone is on the look-out for the perfect gifts for their loved ones. Bromley, RONIN Marketing’s home, is the ideal place to do some browsing – whether it’s fresh fish from the weekend market you need or an engagement ring from a jeweller that you’re after, the South-East London town has choice to boot, as well as some cracking Christmassy displays to get your jingle bells rocking. Take a look at our top five:

1. All I want for Christmas is… jewellery!
Swarovski doesn’t need Christmas to make its window displays look absolutely stunning, but the season certainly adds an extra bit of glitz and glamour to the Austrian jeweller’s sparkly array of trinkets. Their display in The Glades exhibits some gorgeous Christmas crystal ornaments, plus some gobsmacking rocks bound to wow any lucky recipient.

2. Frost-EE the Snowman
The award for the cutest display has to go to the EE store, whose lovely little snowmen sit at the entrance of the store greeting customers in search of their ideal phone. EE’s distinctive hues of yellow and turquoise go against the regular reds and greens of Christmas but actually, it works. Mountains of colourful presents and snowflakes also bedeck the doors, making for a wonderful, wintery scene.

3. Step into Christmas
We couldn’t write this blog without mentioning the Simply Christmas store – the Yuletide extravaganza that pops up in The Glades every year. The shop is brimming with beautiful decorations and household items that will warm the hearts of the grumpiest of Scrooges. The window display will knock your socks off – Father Christmas himself makes an appearance and the trees are some of the best decorated this side of the Thames.

4. Sleigh bells ring… are you listening?
Marks and Spencer has pulled out all the stops this year with a miniature sleigh ride scene, complete with enormous presents, wondrous lights and a showcase of the some of the delicious treats available in their infamous Christmas hampers. If this doesn’t get you feeling merry, we don’t know what will!

5. It’s the most sugary time of the year
Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe is arguably the most magical shop in Bromley all year round, boasting antiquated timber shelves filled with an endless choice of traditional bonbons that sit in portly glass jars. Their Christmas display doesn’t disappoint, with a miniature woodland scene embellishing the front windows; their signature candy canes embellish a tiny Christmas tree, whilst a family of cute deer tuck into some jelly beans. It’s the stuff of fairytales!

6. The holly and the ice cream
Being frozen is Unico’s speciality… because all year round, they make and sell the best ice cream in South East London! This cool and creamy Italian delicatessen has embellished their festive windows with continental treats, such as panettone, twine, baubles, lights and logs. Inviting and merry, this display is enough to make you crave something cold in the depths of winter.

Merry Christmas from the team at RONIN Marketing!
