We’ve just finished an exciting new website design project for a local performing arts school based in Bromley.
Spotlights offers singing, acting and dancing lessons for little stars of various ages, and the website had to be user friendly, packed with vital information for parents as well as show-stopping in appearance. It was a tall order, but creating gorgeous, functional WordPress sites is all in a day’s work for the RONIN designers.
The design takes inspiration from the exciting world of show business, with motifs such as a movie clapperboard and, of course, bright stage lights inspired by the school’s name. The responsive site is fun and interactive, putting the talented students centre stage in a series of images that demonstrate the many different activities children are able to experience at Spotlights.
Parents are also able to instantly access important details such as term dates, class locations and fees and upcoming events from a bright red, eye-catching toolbar, with further drop-down menus to make the information even more accessible and organised. Contact details and links to social media are front and centre of the design, to ensure that parents can stay connected and keep up-to-date with the latest news.
The highly customised WordPress theme allows for the website to be packed full of information without sacrificing the overall aesthetic.
“We love the new website,” says co-director, Alan. “It’s bright, exciting and very easy for us to use.”
