Elevating Safety Solutions

Elevating Safety Solutions (ESS) works with lift manufacturers, installers and maintenance companies in obtaining and maintaining their ISO, health and safety and compliance requirements, as well as essential training for lift engineers. Having launched in 2008, the company felt it was time for a new brand image that reflected its reputation for providing unrivalled customer service and an exemplary standard of work.

Moving its training programme online, ESS also wanted to modernise its digital presence and RONIN created a website with a fresh, dynamic look and feel and a training shop allowing engineers to pay for and complete their training in a single transaction, including instant training assessments and issuing of certificates.

At the heart of every Learning Management System, there should be an easy and intuitive way of organising your courses into sections, lessons, topics and quizzes. It does not have to be overly complicated, but depending on individual requirements, the more stratified the course is, the more detailed it can become, making the experience more immersive and engaging. We did exactly just that, giving 100% control of the learning experience.

Group registration functionality was later on added to the site. This feature allows companies to enrol their lift engineers as a group to a number of pre-selected courses and follow their progress and course completion. Lift engineers can separately login with their username and password and take their group courses in any order they wish. After successfully completing each course, the engineers would receive a customised certificate relating to that specific health and safety course. Company ‘group leaders’ would also be able to follow their engineers individual progress via the company dashboard and gain access to a variety of statistics.
