RONIN Director, Steve Lipscombe, this week features in the Bromley Times, providing his expert opinion on the controversial re-branding of local shopping centre, the Glades. Whilst renaming to ‘Intu’ has been met with fairly negative public opinion, Steve reasons that branding is not just about the name it’s about the associated experience, “Things are very different on the high street compared to when the Glades opened in 1991 there was no internet, high street shopping was very different and there was no Bluewater. The owners can’t ignore that. They will want to improve the shopping experience for customers and attract the best retailers…”
