How long have you worked at RONIN?
This is my 3rd day here at RONIN.
What’s your background? i.e. qualifications, past experience
I had some experience in digital marketing before I came to Ronin and recently did an internship in social media for musicians. I have a diploma in Singing Performance and I’ve worked in events management, as a barman. I’ve even worked for JD Sports for a period of time. You might say I’ve done a bit of everything!
What’s your job title and what does your day-to-day job involve?
I’m an intern at RONIN, working with the social media and design teams. So far, I’ve been doing things such as planning and writing social media posts, looking at analytics, learning how to grow social media accounts and making coffee.
What’s your favourite part of the job?
As much as I love learning about social media and how to use it to market different things, my favourite part of the job so far is the people I work with. They are all really kind, helpful and understanding if I muck something up.
What social media platform could you not live without?
That’s a tough one, as I use Facebook for business-related things and Instagram/Snapchat for personal use. I guess if I had to choose I would go with Instagram, because it’s my go-to platform when I’m bored. I can waste lots of time scrolling until I find a funny meme or video.
What are your interests outside of work?
Music is my biggest interest outside of work. I’m the lead singer in an alt rock band called Off The Plot, and we play in and around London quite often. I also run an open mic night at Carved Dive in Bromley, every Thursday evening. Other than music, I enjoy hanging out with my mates in the pub and also getting tattoos – although that’s not really what you could call relaxing!
Who would play you in a film about your life?
Jim Carrey. I’ve been told by my friends that I often pull Jim Carrey faces!
What’s your guilty pleasure?
I’m quite nerdy, so I love PC Games and board games. I also like researching and discussing all the lore behind the games, as it really enhances the playing experience.
If you had to describe yourself in three words, what would they be?
Sarcastic, happy and a bit weird.

Double dark rum and coca cola.
