How long have you worked at RONIN?
It’s my second week & I’m thrilled to be here. I haven’t been the ‘newbie’ for 7.5 years and it’s incredibly refreshing to be with a new team and clients within this lovely boutique agency.
What’s your background? i.e. qualifications, past experience
It’s been 17 years since I graduated with two degrees from the University of Tasmania, Australia. I was born and raised in Tasmania until I had my first (professional) job with TBWA in Sydney in 2003. I lived in Sydney for five years and worked at Ogilvy, JWT, Wunderman before venturing to London in 2006 – I cannot believe I’ve been here over 13 years now! My list of clients includes American Express, Kellogg’s, Virgin Trains, The Share Centre, NatWest, British Airways, Emirates, Gap, NS&I, Lexus, TalkTalk and The Times. For the last seven years I was employed within Nectar Loyalty (now part of Sainsbury’s) working across their FMCG suppliers and Nectar Loyalty partners, including Reckitt Benckiser, Diageo, Fever-Tree, Hewlett Packard, Vitality, Sainsbury’s Energy & Lloyd’s Pharmacy (to name a few).
What’s your job title, does/will your day-to-day job involve?
Commercial Director at RONIN. I’ll be optimising current clients and welcoming new business. It’s wonderful to be part of the management team here with Judith & Steve, they’ve got a fabulous team and they’ve all welcomed me warmly.
What’s your favourite part of the job?
Meeting new people and uncovering the exciting opportunities available to grow their business.
What social media platform could you not live without?
What are your interests outside of work?
Scrabble, travel, cinema dates & being the best mum I can to my two daughters, Vivienne (5) & Stella (3) with my Danish hubby. Our family loves escaping to St. Ives, Cornwall, as much as I love a night with friends wining and dining.
Who would play you in a film about your life?
Fellow Australian, Toni Collette.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
MMMe time – Manicure, Massage & a Magazine. Ideally, any or all of these come with a glass of bubbles, too.
If you had to describe yourself in three words, what would they be?
Passionate, creative, & kind.
We’re off to the pub – what’s your order?
It can depend on the weather. Bubbles or red wine – but a glass of bubbles is always the safest bet.
