Sponsorship – Supporting Local Sport

Amateur sport may once again be on hold during lockdown, but our support for local teams certainly isn’t. We’ve renewed our sponsorship of Beckenham based hockey club, New Beccs, as well as with Bromley FC, sponsoring the junior teams and the women’s recreational side, the Bromley Belles. And of course, we can’t forget the Bromley men’s first team mascot, Ronin the Raven.

Ronin the Raven

After a lengthy delay, Bromley FC have made a solid start to the 2020-21 season, sitting mid-table after 5 games, and securing an FA Cup first round tie, in which they were narrowly beaten by fellow National League opposition, Yeovil Town.

He may not have been able to thrive off the atmosphere of a packed crowd so far this year, but Ronin the Raven has been as enthusiastic as ever, always donning his own kit with the Ronin brand across his chest. His support isn’t just limited to the touchline though – he’s even taken to social media. Find him on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

In addition to our sponsorship of the club, we regularly use our own social media platforms to promote matches and news, including one piece which saw Bromley FC and Ronin Marketing feature in the New York Times (sort of). Be sure to give us a follow and read the article here.

Bromley Juniors and Bromley Belles

Just like Ronin the Raven, all Bromley junior teams and the Bromley Belle’s recreational team wear Ronin branded strips. Unfortunately, they’re going to remain at the bottom of kit bags for a while, with all amateur sport being forced to stop as part of the latest government guidelines during lockdown 2.0. It’s back to home workouts and garden kick-abouts for the time being.

Nonetheless, we look forward to seeing all our sponsored teams back in action when the measures are due to be lifted on the 2nd of December – just in time for a fresh start ahead of the new year.

New Beccs Hockey Club

Much to our Director Steve’s disappointment, hockey isn’t exempt from the amateur sport ban either – just as he was starting to get excited about wearing his base layer leggings (tights) for some chilly winter matches. Although his games can’t go ahead, our sponsorship of Beckenham-based club, New Beccs, remains in full swing.

In fact, the brand-new kits, also adorned with Ronin branding, were recently delivered just in time for lockdown. It might be a while before we see them put to good use out on the pitch, but it’ll be more than worth the wait.
