30 Sep RONIN walks towards a future without cancer with Shine London 2013
On Saturday 28th September, Judith and Megan, our Account Director and Design Assistant, walked 26 miles to raise money for Cancer Research.
Beginning and ending at Battersea, the Shine Marathon walk took place overnight and involved walking all over central London, taking in sights such as the Royal Albert Hall, St Paul’s Cathedral, Tower Bridge and the London Eye. The ladies did very well and completed the walking marathon in 6 hours and 58 minutes, and all whilst wearing novelty cat ears! They have raised a fantastic £645 so far to help aid Cancer Research.
Established in 1902, Cancer Research are searching for better treatments and cures for cancer, an illness that is estimated to affect 1 in 3 of us in our lifetimes. From the scientists working directly towards this cause to the supporters who fundraise to make such research possible, every little helps to save lives. If you’d like to give a donation to support Judith, Megan and Cancer Research UK, you can still do so via their JustGiving page.
